Sussex Police Dog Unit Police has donated £350 to Chyngton Pre-School in Seaford to help pay for a pergola in the children's play area. This money will help the children in the local community to play safely out doors in the summer heat.

Chairman of the pre-school Pete Tattam said: "We are extremely grateful for this money. It will go a long way to making the outside play space comfortable and safe for the children to play in. It will also have plants growing up it that will enhance the area for the children and those that use the church."

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
