The man who died in a collision in Ditchling Road, Brighton, has been named.

20 year old Laurence Bickham, of Willow Drive in Seaford, died following the collision at around 3.55pm on Tuesday, 7th February, in which the Kawasaki motorbike he was riding collided with a bus.

Mr Bickham's pillion passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Newhaven, received serious injuries and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment where she remains in a stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, and is yet to speak to police, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Smallfield.
