Police are seeking witnesses to an attack on a boy outside the Peacehaven Meridian Centre.

At 5pm on Sunday 5 January, the 17-year old local boy was assaulted by a man who hit him in the face and stomach in the alley way by the Meridian Centre. The suspect was in a group of people.

The victim was bruised and shaken but did not require hospital treatment.

PC Rachel Harding said; "If you were in the area at the time and saw any anti-social behaviour at all please contact us on 101 quoting serial 1241 of 5/01."
