Lewes District Council has received yet another planning application for a new development in Newhaven.
 
The application proposes a redevelopment of the Marco Trailers site on Railway Road and would provide a mixed commercial and residential development, including six shops, six offices and six maisonettes.

The plans are the most recent in a long line of mixed development plans for sites on the east side of the river in Newhaven, with three high profile developments, set to include supermarkets, currently being considered by the council.

The application can be viewed at the Newhaven Town Council Offices in Fort Road from 11am tomorrow, 11th January, and will be available online in due course. Comments on the application must be made before 2nd February.
