SECOND MAN SOUGHT FOR SEAFORD ROBBERY

Police are appealing for information regarding a second man who they believe was involved in the Texaco service station robbery on Sunday 1 January.

Two men entered the store at around 6.50pm, one of whom threatened and cut the cashier with a knife, before making off with cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

Police swiftly attended and stopped two men near to the scene but one of them ran off and has yet to be located. The other man was arrested on suspicion of robbery, has been charged and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court today, 3 January.

Detective Sergeant Suzy Joseph from East Sussex CID said: "We are keen to locate the second suspect who is described as white and between 5' 8" and 5' 10".
