Very well said Graham.
As you rightly say, NPP is seeking the co-operation of the local authorities and the general public so as to be able to bring about its port improvements. So why not have a bit of co-operation the other way and give the general public of Newhaven and the surrounding area something back in return?
It is not just convenient for NPP when it comes to advert filming, for which I assume they charge a fee, but it was equally as convenient to have the two salvage rigs at the West Beach all winter. Again presumably there was a fee involved and of course the West Beach Car Park was closed to all other users whilst the rigs were there.
So come on NPP, let's see both sides of the river get a much needed boost.
