PORT REGENERATION PLANS - A COUNCILLOR REPLIES

Newhaven Town Councillor Graham Amy has responded to yesterday's NEWHAVEN PORT REGENERATION PLANS story:
No one is going to disagree with these proposals. However what would be nice would be some give and take from NPP and for them to re-open the West beach. This really would boost tourism, make the Hope. (now leased). the
Harbourside, (up for sale), and the tackle shop and other local businesses thrive again.
If NPP has plans for the West side, let the residents of Newhaven know. Stop keep hiding behind H&S legislation.
After all, the beach and breakwater are always safe when adverts are being made.
