Oh look...only one month until Christmas!... Whether you find this very exciting or very scary, don't worry; with so much going on in Newhaven and Seaford this weekend, you'll be too busy to think about it!

Yet again we've got a great Friday night line-up for you, with live music and local celebs coming at you from every direction. Over in Seaford, the Folk Club kicks off proceedings with Kathy Tait from 8pm, whilst over at the Constitutional Club, Dr Scardo are back in town, playing from 8pm. Great local band The Riffs play at V Bar from 9pm, and up in South Heighton, the X Factor comes to the Hampden Arms as former contestant Daryl Markham takes to the stage with Jon Lodge from 9pm.

Help support your local community this Saturday morning in both Newhaven and Seaford, starting at the Hillcrest Centre, where Newhaven RNLI is holding a Christmas Fair from 10am. Also at 10am, Norman Baker will be joining the Sainsbury's FareShare Food Drive, a national initiative asking customers to donate an item from their own shopping trolley to charity, in order to help reduce surplus food waste.

Over at Seaford Constitutional Club, following the success of their fundraising dog show in the summer, Seaford Dog Rescue is holding a Table Top Sale and Coffee Morning from 9am, with stalls still available if you fancy selling.

Saturday also sees the start of the Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair at The Crypt Gallery. Mayor of Seaford, Linda Wallraven will be attending the Grand Opening from 11am, with the Fair itself continuing on until 4th December.

There's more live music on Saturday evening, with Fat Belly Jones up at the Hampden Arms from 8.30pm, and Paddedshell playing their last ever gig at The Ark from 9pm.

If by Sunday you feel like you may have spent a bit too much time in the pub, take the opportunity to get fit and healthy with a Zumba Masterclass at the Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford from 2pm.
