WHAT MAKES SEAFORD SPECIAL?

November 24 2011

There's still time to enter the M&CO charity photographic competition 'What Makes Seaford Special'. Hurry though, entry closes at 4.30pm on Wednesday 30th November!

The competition title gives a wide scope for people to enter their favourite photograph - be it of a local beauty spot, Seaford wildlife or showcasing community spirit - it's up to entrants to decide exactly what makes Seaford special to them.

Judging will take place on Thursday 1st December with an expert panel comprising of the Mayor of Seaford, Councillor Linda Wallraven, Deputy Council Leader, Councillor Mark Brown and the Young Mayor and Deputy of Seaford, Maddie Jay and Amy Gough.

The winner and two runners up will be invited to the Seaford late night shopping event on Friday 2nd December, where they will collect their prizes and have their photograph taken with the Mayor.

The competition is in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Mayors chosen charity, WAVES Family Support Service. It costs just £3 to enter, with forms available from M&CO in Broad Street, Seaford or by emailing admin@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk
