Seaford Town Council has agreed to hold an annual charity open garden day in conjunction with local residents. The event will be led by Geoff Stonebanks, who has opened his award winning gardens 'Driftwood' at Bishopstone for the last two years, raising nearly six thousand pounds for charity.

After donating an amazing £580 to the Mayor of Seaford's chosen charity, WAVES family support service in August this year, Geoff decided to approach the Town Council with his ideas for a Seaford wide charity open garden day.

The first event will take place on Sunday 8th July 2012.
