Lewes District Council is considering two Travellers Sites, one of which is located on the Newhaven to Seaford Road near Denton.

How far this 'considering' has gone remains unclear, but the matter will be discussed at the Newhaven Town Council meeting at Meeching Hall, Fort Road tomorrow evening from 7.30pm.

Roger Foxwell of Foxhole Farm has started a petition opposing any such planning application and he will be at Sainsbury's this evening collecting further signatures, as well as at the Council meeting tomorrow evening.
