Following on from its recent success at the Eastbourne Bonfire celebrations, Seaford Bonfire Society is preparing to light up Seaford this weekend with its first procession and fireworks display since it reformed earlier this year.

This Saturday, 22nd October, the 35 front-line members of the team will be joined by a number of visiting bonfire societies, as well as the Pentacle Drummers who will provide the backbeat for the torch-lit parade.

The procession sets off from from the society's headquarters at the White Lion pub at 6.30pm, heading towards the Seaford War Memorial and then onto the Martello Fields where a bonfire and free fireworks display will be held.
So wrap up warm and head out to enjoy this latest revival of a great Sussex tradition.
