If you fancy being carried away by some traditional tales, worldly myths or modern classics, make your way to the Hillcrest Centre Café tonight from 7pm and join in with the GuestHouse Storytellers group, this month taking on the Haven appropriate theme, 'The Sea, The Sea'.

The GuestHouse Storytellers is a non-profit making performance storytelling club for adults. It is run by volunteers and meets on the second Tuesday of each month, encouraging audience participation and operating an open floor system - members of the audience put their name into 'The Hat of Destiny' for a chance to tell a story of ten minutes or less from memory. There is no pressure to perform as attendees are equally welcome to simply sit back and listen to the evening unfold in the relaxing surroundings of the café.

As one of the oldest art forms in the world, storytelling provides a chance to meet and share stories with others in your community.
