Well it's yet another jam-packed weekend on the cards for Newhaven and Seaford! Who needs the bright lights of Brighton or Eastbourne when your local line-up includes a music festival, fashion show, photographic exhibition and... two car boot sales! With so much going on, don't stay in, get out there and support your local events!

TONIGHT
Start your weekend in style with the Charity Fashion Show at the Breakout Community Centre in Newhaven. Featuring local models and the latest trends from sponsor M&Co, it's sure to be a great event.

For brains over beauty, the Mayor's Quiz Night will be right up your street. Get down to Meeching Hall in Newhaven from 7.00pm.

On the music front, there's Kangaroo Juice at the Hampden Arms from 8:30pm, or over in Seaford catch the Seaford Folk Club at the Royal British Legion from 8:00pm.

SATURDAY

Why not start your Saturday by supporting the Newhaven & District Lifeboat Society Car Boot & Table Top Sale. Head down to Paradise Park Car Park in Newhaven from 9:00am to grab a bargain or make some cash.

Over in Seaford, there's the Care For The Carers Charity Fayre, for carers of all ages at St Leonards Church from 10:00am.

Things start to liven up at 2.00pm when The Engineer pub in Newhaven plays host to a music festival in aid of Searchlight. The line-up includes Welcome To Nutsville, Kangaroo Juice, Stash, DC & The Topcat's, Random and The Caution, as well as lots for the kids to do, and it's all for a great local cause.

Saturday also sees the start of two long-running events. The Crypt Gallery in Seaford will play host to the Seaford Photographic Society Exhibition until 29th September, as well as Seaford Rediscovered, a course on local history, starting at Seaford Museum and continuing until 22nd October.

SUNDAY
If you think you can handle the excitement of yet another Car Boot sale, make your way down to the Martello Fields in Seaford from 9:00am .

At 2:00pm, the Annual Battle of Britain Service and Parade, organised by the Seahaven RAFA, will take place at the War Memorial in Seaford, followed by a service at St Leonards Church.

Round the bay, the Newhaven In Bloom Prize Giving runs from 2:00pm at Paradise Park.
