GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL ORGANISATIONS

Newhaven Town Council has today announced the launch of its annual small grants scheme.
Every year the Council invites local groups and organisations, working for the benefit of Newhaven residents, to apply for funding. Grants awarded last year went to support a variety of worthwhile causes, including Christmas lunches and outings for the elderly and vulnerable, the purchase of play equipment for pre-school groups and the hire of a skip to enable local residents to clean up their area.
Application forms for this year's grants can be downloaded from the Town Council's website at www.newhaventowncouncil.gov.uk . Alternatively, they can be obtained by telephoning 01273 516100 or emailing admin@newhaventowncouncil.gov.uk .
The deadline for applications is 21st October 2011.
