Newhaven Fire fighters were called out yesterday afternoon to pump water out of a rusty boat left at the side of the harbour.

A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue service said that the vessel was not on fire and that the call out was for pollution reasons, following a period of sustained rain in the area.
