The towering platforms that have given the Newhaven skyline a new feature over the winter are actually moored up for the maintenance and modifications.

The two platforms are exploration working units used for surveying the seabed for projects like the proposed Hastings Field wind farm, although these ones are not actually anything to do with the much hyped and talked about project.
