Woolworths in Newhaven closed when the firm crashed a couple of years ago but re-opened last year as Alworths more than a year-and-a-half after the famed retail chain went into administration.

Sadly Alworths has gone the same way as the once mighty Woolworths and the major retail premises in Newhaven High Street has now been taken over by Pound Stretcher,offering a range of household goods and food lines at competitive prices.
