Fancy having a go at woodcarving? The Woodcarving Club at The Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven has now reopened following the Lockdown closure, and has some spare capacity for woodcarvers of every level, from beginners through to experienced carvers and artists.

The fully equipped Hillcrest workshops are now open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am through to 3.30pm. However, under current Covid restrictions, only six people are allowed in the workshop at any one time, and so a rota is in place. The plan is to make full use of the workshop every day eventually.
