VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR SEAFORD STATION SCHEME

March 31 20014

Organisers Sylvia Dunn and Jenny Thornton are looking for volunteers for the Seaford Station Community Scheme in time for the special 150th Anniversary Event at the station on June 7th.

The scheme is nearing the end and they are now calling on the whole community to get involved in any way they can; you can support this worthwhile scheme by donating seeds, plants, bulbs, cuttings, soil for a new Wild Flower Garden; or go along and help.

This Saturday, April 5th from 10am to 3.30pm, the team is working towards the back of the car park, so if you would like to be involved in preparing the ground or planting, the following rules apply:

* Suitable boots must be worn, not wellingtons or trainers. High-Vis Jacket and gloves must be worn, but both will be provided. Please note: Volunteers must be 18 or over.

Donations, that will be gratefully received, can be left at the station for the attention of Jenny Thornton.
