Venture Scouts Alice Smith and Tom Laidlaw attended a Rotary Club of Seaford  lunch recently to receive cheques from the Club to help with the funding for their visit in July 2015 to the south island of Japan.

Alice takes up the story: “ I have been looking forward to help staff a World Jamboree since participating at the Swedish Jamboree in 2011, to help other people experience what I have.

"To fund the trip I have held raffles and tombolas, completed a sponsored walk and have very kindly received help from Seaford Rotary Club.”
