ST GEORGE VISITS TRAFALGAR

June 7th 2021.

President of the Seahaven Branch, The Royal Society of St George, Laurie Holland, visited the Trafalgar Football Ground at Newhaven last Saturday, the 5th Of June, to present a certificate from the Charitable Trust of The Royal Society of St George to acknowledge the donation of funds to buy new training equipment to the Youth Section.

The certificate was received by the Chairman of the Youth Section, Kevin Wilson. Laurie Holland was then shown around the grounds, where he saw many of the teams in training. The youngsters of these mixed teams impressed Laurie with their skills and he said it was good to see so many boys and girls seriously training and enjoying the experience, which will be great for their future fitness and the game.

When looking around the grounds, Laurie was met at the cafe by Miss Morgan Smith, who with her mother makes a great contribution with the cafe, which is not just open for those of the club, but also welcomes any visitors. This is certainly a facility to visit to see what a great job is being done with the young people enjoying their game.
