This month the Seaford Twinning Association will be skittling in traditional English and chatting in all standards of German. The monthly social event will be traditional English pub skittles in the Harvey's Pub, The Royal Oak in Barcombe. This is an all-age all-standards fun session of three hours of skittling and an excellent hot buffet lunch. The skittles match is played both straight and with handicaps, and teams are made up on the day.

It starts promptly at 11.00 on Saturday March the 14th, and costs £12 for games and meal. There are small prizes, and the traditional STA raffle. (Child rate: 2 under 13’s sharing a lunch pay £6 each)

To take part book with Liz on 01323 896315 before Wednesday March the 11th. Once booked you are committed to paying for a booked lunch!

For the Plauschgruppe, or German Conversation enthusiasts, there is a members-only lunch meeting on Saturday March the 21st, but in April there will be a further informal Conversation Event on Wednesday the 8th, from 7.00pm to 10.00 pm at the White Lion Pub. Open to all.
