SEAFORD BUSINESSES DIG DEEP TO HELP LOCAL SCHOOLCHILDREN

January 11th, 2021.

A pair of local businesses have teamed up to donate £1000 to a primary school to help children affected by the latest lockdown. Greve & Son Builders and the Estate Agent Content Club each donated £500 last week to Cradle Hill Primary School.

The money will provide much-needed laptops and computer equipment for children who don't have access to them.

Jonny Greve, of Greve & Son, said: "Jerry and I had a chat, and we both wanted to do something positive to help children. Through no fault of their own, or the school's, they may be missing out on learning due to not having computers. We're delighted to be able to support the school in our own small way."

Jerry Lyons, of Estate Agent Content Club, said: "We both have children who attend the school, so it seemed fitting to support the teachers and staff's efforts. Lockdown is hard for everyone, but especially for children. It's important we help each other during these tough times, and I'd encourage any other local businesses to contact schools and see if they can help them."

Mrs Andrea Keith of Cradle Hill School said: "We are very grateful for the generous donations from Greve and Son and the Estate Agent Content Club. It will help make a difference to our children and their families."
