East Sussex businesses are being invited to take part in a cross-Channel initiative to promote themselves to passengers on the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry. The Association Développement Touristique et Economique. ASDTE, is looking for English businesses to join its existing French members offering discounts or other promotional inducements to ferry passengers on production of their tickets.

ASDTE will promote businesses taking part at ferry terminals and on the ferries themselves.

French businesses taking part include hotels, souvenir shops, producers of regional specialities, restaurants and bars, bakers, chocolate makers, tourist attractions and tour operators.

ASDTE is looking for counterparts on this side of the Channel to form an international marketing partnership.
