PLASTIC FREE SEAFORD - PUBLIC MEETING

September 25th, 2018.

Plastic Free Seaford is holding a public meeting at the Seven Sisters pub in Alfriston Road this Thursday, the 27th of September, starting at 7.00pm.

There is a movement for towns and cities to sign-up for 'Plastic Free' status, and an enthusiastic group has started a campaign in Seaford.

Claire Sumners from Plastic Free Seaford explains: "I'm looking for a team of volunteers to work with me to help Seaford to plastic freedom. Could that be you?

"On Thursday you can find out more about what Plastic-Free actually means, what the Surfers Against Sewage strategy is and how, as a town, we can implement it.

"I'll also be on hand in my other role as Zero Waste Maman to help you identify those single-use plastic products you can easily eliminate from your life."

For more information, see the Plastic Free Seaford Facebook page HERE for details of beach clean dates and tips for reducing your single-use plastic consumption.
