In our earlier story covering the ongoing overnight closures of Newhaven's South Way and the Westward direction bridge road, we published the East Sussex Highways statement covering the closures.Under the
Road closure information section, the statment read:
"There will be no work taking place on Sundays and the road will be reopened."Haven News asked East Sussex Highways to clarify the opening period and they quickly confirmed that the road will be CLOSED for road works on Saturday Nights/Sunday Mornings and OPEN to traffic on Sunday Nights/Monday Mornings.
