Last year the Collinson family celebrated 100 years of farming at Norton. Norton Farm & The Collinson Family is a presentation by local historian Ian Everest in aid of the Willett Trust. It will take place at Bishopstone Parish Hall on Saturday the 8th of October, starting at 7.30pm

Ian Everest will tell the story of the Collinson family and where they came from before taking the tenancy of the farm and take a look at the past 100 years at Norton, the changes in farming practices, notable events and the people who worked on this local 1000 acre downland farm.

Paul Collinson, the third generation of his family to run the farm, will end the evening by talking about the farm today.
