NEW LOCAL BUS FARE STRUCTURE NOW INCLUDES THE VALLEY

April 29th, 2017.

Starting today, Newhaven town buses 145 and also 123 - between Valley Road, the Town Centre and Sainsburys - will be subsidised for everyone all day every Saturday.

With new bargain fares of just £1.00 adult single or £1.50p adult return (children aged 5-15 yrs half price) and an hourly service on the 145, there’s never been a better time to go by bus. If you hold an English National Concessionary Bus Pass you will travel free!

A local bus is the ideal way for young and old, individuals and families to pop into town to pick up some shopping, have a coffee with friends, visit local attractions or stroll along the quayside.

The more frequent service on 145 and the reduced fares on both 145 and 123 have been made possible by funding from Newhaven Town Council working in partnership with East Sussex County Council, Compass Bus and CTLA.

The service will be reviewed again in six months’ time, so if you want to see it continue.... use it!
