Around 300 visitors came to see the five gardens open across both Saturday and Sunday last weekend, some from as far afield as Guildford, Croydon and Chichester. Despite the dreadful winds on Saturday, many still took tea and cakes in the garden and braved the elements!

Thanksgo to all who helped make the weekend a great succes, including all garden owners, Aideen & Denis Jones at Sandgate Close, Karen and David Allam at Barrack Cottage, Jane and Roger Bullock at Buckthorn Close, Sue Wright at Elizabeth Cottage, and all those who helped at Driftwood, Mark Glassman, Celia Hughes, Richard Walsh, and not forgetting Liz Holland who was a wizz at selling raffle tickets for Macmilan and Barbara Stonebanks who sold the tickets at the gate. 

£2200 was raised for NGS beneficiary charities such as Macmilland and Marie Curie.
