Prayers for Seaford at Christmas
On Friday the 4th of December at the Christmas Tree of Lights at Seaford War Memorial, the Mayor’s Chaplain, Minister Andy Machin, led ‘Prayers for Seaford at Christmas’ accompanied by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor Cllr Jean Cash and the Young Mayor Chanel Pritchard.

Best Dressed Window Competition
The prayers at the Tree of Lights were followed by the judging of the ‘Best Dressed Window’ competition, together with President of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce, Clare Davis. The competition is organised by the Seaford Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s winner was Foam and Fabrics, displaying ‘The Night Before Christmas’. They received a trophy with one year’s free membership of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce. The Award was presented on Saturday the 5th of December by Gerri Ori of the Chamber of Commerce and the Mayor of Seaford.

Joint runners up were newcomers, Room Interiors, and the Barbers Lodge, located in High Street. They have both won a half-price annual membership of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce.

Clare Davis, President of the Chamber of Commerce said: “It was a pleasure to be involved in the judging of the Best Dressed Window Competition again. Despite the town having been in lockdown for the past month, it was great to see so many of the shops involved. A huge congratulations to Foam and Fabrics on another great display and for winning this year”.
