MACMILLAN COASTAL GARDEN TRAIL THIS WEEKEND

Why not visit some of the 31 gardens open for Macmillan Cancer Support this weekend on the Macmillan Coastal Garden Trail from Brighton to Eastbourne, taking in Saltdean, Peacehaven, Newhaven, Seaford and Piddinghoe. 


There are some very special gardens along the way; a wonderful large walled garden in Kemptown, hidden behind the façade of the houses on the seafront, then there is Driftwood in Seaford, which was featured on national television last week, a stunning coastal garden overlooking the harbour in Newhaven and a wonderful small Japanese garden in Eastbourne

There are also four brand new gardens, never having opened before to the public and 21 new gardens for 2014, 13 of them will be serving tea and cakes and some light lunches.

Cost is £12 for a ticket bought in the first garden visited will let you see all gardens over the weekend. Alternatively you can pay £2 at each garden you visit.

A 12 page brochure with all gardens in can be collected in the very first garden visited.
