HALLOWEEN FUN COMES TO NEWHAVEN FORT

Newhaven Fort will be opening its doors from Saturday 27 October to Sunday 4 November to brave souls wishing to take part in all manner of ghastly activities and events.

There are questions to answer in the spooky family quiz trail, running daily. You can also visit the Romney Hut and have a go at some Halloween themed funfair games.

On Sunday 28 October you can visit the on-site face painter and transform yourself into a Halloween ghoul (12.00 - 3.00pm). And if you're feeling creative you can make some scary treats in the Halloween Craft Workshops taking place on Wednesday 31 October at 12:00, 1:30pm and 3:00pm*.

If it's creepy creatures you're after then visit the 'Jaws and Claws' handling sessions at 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Monday 29 October. The ever popular Zoolab will also return on Friday 2 November. Show times are 1:30pm and 2:45pm for over fives only. On Saturday 3 November 'Owls Out and About', will be at the Fort between 11.00 and 4.00pm, giving visitors a chance to meet and handle some of these magnificent birds.
 
Also on 3 November, Filmspot touring cinema will return to the Fort with a screening of the classic E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) [PG]. The screening begins at 3.00pm. Tickets are priced at £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for children and can be purchased in advance from Newhaven Fort.
