FRIENDS OF TIDE MILLS MONTHLY CLEAN-UP AND REPORT

October 17 2016.

Jim Skinner reports:

In challenging conditions, 12 Friends of Tide Mills completed their October meeting yesterday, collecting a total of seven sacks of rubbish, plus a few larger items. Not too bad, so let's hope this relatively clean state of affairs continues.

It's a real shame that dogs mess remains the persistent problem, but that is down to the dog owners, not the dogs. Tide Mills is such a valuable gem for everybody to share and enjoy, why won't these inconsiderate individuals not see this?

Our next meeting is taking place on Sunday the 20th of November, (always the third Sunday of the month), 10.00am til 12.00 noon, meeting at the old village beach road waymarker.

We always welcome new members to our friendly little band, no matter how much time can be spared - the more we are, the easier it is to ensure Tide Mills stays cared for and just how we all like to see it.
