COUNCILLOR WELCOMES SPEED SURVEY ON VALE ROAD SEAFORD

March 27 2015.

East Sussex County Council Councillor Carolyn Lambert has succeeded in getting a speed survey carried out in Vale Road, Seaford.

Carolyn explains: “Residents living in Vale Road are very concerned about the apparent speed of traffic in this area and there have been two accidents in the last few years where children have been injured. It is important that we do whatever we can to assess the speed of traffic and get some proper evidence to support any other road safety measures that may be necessary in this road.

"I am grateful for the support of East Sussex County Council who have agreed to fund a proper speed survey and I would be interested to hear views from residents of Vale Road about the possible location for this which should not be near any of the junctions.”
