CHRISTMAS FASHION SHOW SET FOR NEWHAVEN

November 17 2016.

Leading Animal charity PDSA is to stage a Christmas Charity Fashion Show in Newhaven Town Centre on December the 9th to raise funds for sick animals; and also put some fun and regeneration back into the town. The event, run by the Newhaven branch of ‘People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals’ promises to appeal to every age with a range of clothing from children to the more mature of us; and in a range of sizes. Plus, the event is accessible to Newhaven residents using mobility scooters.

There will be a large, diverse range of items up for sale, including furniture that the Newhaven Shop cannot normally display because of its small size, clothing for all ages, Christmas Partywear, Vintage and other Jewellery and Accessories, Xmas Decorations, plus Raffles, Wine and Nibbles – and some Acoustic Christmas music going on throughout the three-hour event.

The Show will take place at the former Co-op store, which has recently hosted an Art Festival throughout the Summer months, and tickets are available for £3 per head from the PDSA Charity Shop in Newhaven.

Newhaven PDSA Store Manager Kelly Eager said: “Since the Co-op has gone, a lot of shops in the town are losing money, so we thought this could be a good way of helping the town’s regeneration and beneficial to all shop owners around Christmas; not just for the PDSA.

“We’ve had a lot of support so far, but we really want some more people to come on-board to make this a really positive event for everyone in the town of Newhaven.”
