CHAMBER HELPS CINDY

January 20th, 2017.

Thanks to the Seaford Chamber of Commerce and other fundraising supporters, Cinderella will be cleaning a brand new kitchen at the Barn Theatre just in time for the popular pantomime run, starting tonight in Seaford.

A £1500 cheque towards the renovations was presented to the Seaford Musical Theatre cast members by members of SCC after raising the funds at their annual golf tournament.

The kitchen has been named 'Nanny Cook's' after the theatre's refreshments manager, Marilyn Nolan, who received a British Empire Medal (B.E.M) in 2016 for over thirty years of volunteering.

The community building receives no statutory funding and welcomes over 6,000 audience members a year to local productions, one night shows and film screenings by the Seaford Community Cinema.

The pantomime, directed by Tony Betts, is running over the next two weekends, with matinees already sold out.
