St. Andrew's Church was built between 600 and 800 AD and is perhaps the oldest Saxon Church in Sussex. it has a sundial over the porch inscribed 'Eadric' who may have been the first incumbent! the tower houses bells hung in 1761.

Restoration work is now complete. Stunning Anglo Saxon and Norman architectural features have been found beneath Victorian plaster and there is now a Medieval aumbry and a piscina in the Sanctuary. There is a Priests window above the Porch and an 11th Century North window in the Nave. There is also the remnant of a wall painting on the West wall.
